Todays advanced technology offers cellphone users to enjoy prepaid services. If we go back about 10 years most people needed to have monthly plans which were and are even today costly. Since the introduction of prepaid cellphones a lot of individuals are abandoning it.
How come prepaid service is being offerd? The answer is obvious. The subscribers don’t have to pay for what the are not consuming. So if you are using a cellphone with a monthly plan you should look over what you are spending money on. If you want to test it you can go to your local phone store and buy a prepaid card for your phone. Just make sure it is supported.
If you have a monthly plan you know you had to first sign a contract and that your are bound to follow the rules. You always have to pay the monthly bill but that you don’t have to do with a prepaid simcard. You only pay for what you use. These type of prepaid service are extremely good if you have kid’s. You have full control over what your kid’s spend on phone calls and other mobile services. Since there is many providers of prepaid card’s today You can easily switch card to the one that has lowest price at the moment.
Look at todays financial situation in all countries. Despite the condition of bad economy the phone companies cell is still growing. These prepaid cellphone cars are a big million dollar income every year for them. The number of subscribers are just growing.
Among prepaid providers we find AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. The prepaid service they provide are the same as the monthly contracts where you find Caller ID, SMS (Short Message Service) and International calls. You usually find MMS type and sometimes even Internet connection with GPRS or UMTS. And if the luck comes around you can even get bonuses for frequent usage.
One problem with prepaid cards is that they have and expiration date. The money you refill your card with will be lost if not used within the card’s lifetime. This is usually a year. However you can extend the lifetime by refilling the card with new credits or minutes again. Prepaid simcards are also good for people that hardly use their phone or only have it for in case of emergency. I strongly recommend getting a prepaid card so you can abandon that old monthly expensive annoying bill.
You can now look for your prepaid service providers in your state and choose one that have a great offer. They sometimes subvention cellphones when you buy a prepaid card. That is great because you can even earn some money by selling your old phone and get a new one. Don’t forget to check some testimonials before you decide which provider to choose. Try find a company that offers many places to refill your card at. Your local store for example. Of course there are still terms and conditions to follow when you buy a prepaid card. Check with your old company first if you are allowed to change provider and subscription.
Never again you need to be afraid you can’t afford your monthly bill and you are always sure that your family and friends can reach you without it to cost a fortune.

Prepaid is definitely the way to go if you are interested in saving money. But going with the big four contract carriers if you want a prepaid is probably not a good idea. Many other carriers offer better prepaid deals and most of them are mvno’s on the big four network anyway so you get the same network coverage at a cheaper rate. I use NET10 prepaid, carried on multiple networks so coverage is exceptional. Their rates are among the best and they have a very simple pricing structure, always 10c per minute, with no fees or service charges tacked on like the other carriers do.
By far the best deal in my opinion - best price with best service.
